Frida Kahlo wedding theme

olorful and folkloric Frida Kahlo wedding theme. Kahlo’s style was very dramatic and inspired by the indigenous Mexican culture. The bright colors and traditional Mexican details set the tone for a fabulous Frida Kahlo wedding. Don’t be afraid to make a statement with your reception decor and yourself. Use bold accessories such as flowers on your hair, along with Mexican silver jewelry. Adorn the wedding location with festive Mexican decorations like papel picado, bright paper crepe flowers, and colorful votive candles. I love how unique and artistic a Frida theme can be. Enjoy!

Styles for weddings

Of course out there are a TON Styles for weddings  ,And the best way to discover your wedding style is to look at everything about you and your fiance. From what you wear, to your jobs, to what you do for fun. You want your wedding to be a reflection of BOTH of YOU, not your venue, not your parents, and not what you think a wedding is *supposed* to be like.   The answer is in your daily life!!!

Do you wear heels everywhere you go and have friends asking you to go shopping with them all the time? maybe your style is Chic, defined as style and elegance.... now lets see how a chic & beach style blends on design

And of course we can’t forget the stylish, Boho brides. Fun, spontaneous, and always looking ways to put a twist on things, you want a wedding that your guests most likely have never been to before. You and/or your fiance are most likely have some sort of artistic career, and you both have a flair for design. Oh, and no matter what he says, your fiance probably wants to have a say in how things are going to look for your wedding. And you’ll probably DIY some pretty awesome stuff.

Or maybe you and your fiance are the type of people who love being outside. You’re always biking, hiking, going the beach, playing sports, etc etc. You met a mutual friend’s barbeque or your first date was going surfing. It’s probably a no brainer to have an intimate Backyard wedding, surrounded by your family and closest friends

Are you a business woman? Stylish, modern, elegant, and poised are words that your friends would use to describe you. Your fiance is a go-getter and you met at Happy Hour at one of the most chic bars in the city. A clean, Modern style is going to be perfect for you.

the right flowers for your wedding!!

A wedding would just not be the same without flowers. Every bride wants her wedding to be memorable and her choice of flowers or arrangements should reflect her specific taste and personality. Her flowers should create a theme to make her wedding day special and provide the finishing touch to this very special day.

Here’s a few pointers to help you get started

Consider the season that your wedding will be held in, seasonal flowers usually work out much cheaper and fresher than expensive imported options.

Have a good idea of what you're ready to spend on flowers before getting your heart set on specific blooms or arrangements. The cost of wedding flowers ranges widely (typically between $2,000 and $6,000) depending on the types of flowers you choose, how delicate those flowers are and, of course, how many arrangements you'll need and how elaborate they'll be. So set your budget, then look for inspiration -- not vice versa.

Focus your flower budget on the areas of your wedding that will be in the spotlight. Your bouquet, a signature element at the ceremony (like the huppah or pedestal arrangements) and reception centerpieces should top your list of priorities.

  • Color is an important part of your decision about which flowers to have. The colors chosen should complement the bridal gown, the wedding theme, and the clothing of the rest of the bridal party. Colors chosen according to the seasonal availability will allow you the greatest impact for the smaller price, as seasonal flowers will always cost less. When thinking about color, consider what the flowers have to contend with in the room, marquee, or outdoor area where they're located and be sure to choose colors that will stand out.
